Highlights
15 items
  1. Schedule tasks to the hour.

Besides a date, you can set a task's start and end time; the task sits on the calendar's hourly grid, and "Overdue" is calculated from that time too.

  2. Expand subtasks from any row.

Every task with subtasks gets an arrow that opens them right in place, in project list and table views, My tasks, Inbox, All tasks, labels, and dashboard widgets.

  3. Connect Google Calendar with your own account.

You connect by signing in to your Google account directly, and your calendars are detected right away; the old method that required a manual key has been removed.

  4. Video meeting rooms come to Taskie.

You can create rooms, and after a meeting ends, see its duration, attendees, recording, transcript, and notes in Taskie.

  5. Long recordings become meeting minutes and tasks.

The audio of a 30- to 90-minute meeting is processed into a meeting-minutes document, along with suggested tasks for you to review.

  6. Permissions are more granular and per project.

Custom roles have separate view, create, edit, and delete permissions for each area, and you can change a role's or a person's access in just one project.

  7. Workspace admins can publish announcements.

Publish a banner to all members or only to specific roles and projects; dismissing a banner sticks across all of a member's devices.

  8. Task activity is written in plain language.

Every task change is explained, and on desktop you can hover to see its details.

  9. Update goal values right from the row.

Numeric, financial, and yes/no goals update without opening the edit dialog.

  10. Whiteboard and mind map work with touch.

On phones and tablets you can pan, pinch to zoom, long-press to open menus, and write with a stylus.

  11. The assistant recognizes task IDs.

Typing IDs like "HAMBOT-005", or just the numbers that follow them, is enough; the assistant no longer asks which project you mean.

  12. Connected assistants organize documents.

A connected assistant can create folders, nest documents, attach files, and read the full text of long documents.

  13. Pages open noticeably faster.

The task list, dashboard, projects, and sidebar are lighter, and moving between pages no longer rebuilds the layout.

  14. Refreshed sign-in, home page, and sidebar.

The sign-in page fits on one screen, the home page shows real product screenshots, and the active sidebar row has a clearer indicator.

  15. Fixes in this release.

Moving a task to another project gives it a new ID, the document comment editor opens only while editing, the assistant drawer no longer covers content on public pages, creating an assistant from a template is fixed, and the checkout page no longer locks up in the app-store edition of the Android app.
