What's new in Taskie 2.5.0 Multi-project planning, shared workflows, and smarter connections

This release redesigns the Gantt, calendar, sprint, and gallery views for more precise planning, brings every task in the workspace together on one page, and makes shared management of fields and workflows simpler. Forms, documents, agents, MCP connections, messenger bots, and support also get new capabilities.

Highlights
15 items
  1. The Gantt view becomes a more precise scheduling tool.

New time scales, four dependency types, lead and lag, milestones, the critical path, and baselines make schedule control easier.

  2. The project calendar was redesigned.

See tasks by day, week, month, year, or agenda, and drag to move, shorten, or extend their dates.

  3. Sprint planning is clearer and capacity-based.

The backlog, sprints, member capacity, and progress reports now live in one unified planning space.

  4. The gallery view and task sections expanded.

See tasks as image cards, and organize them under custom sections in list, table, board, and gallery.

  5. An "All tasks" page joins the workspace.

Browse tasks from every project on one page, and arrange the views, documents, files, and boards you need alongside them.

  6. A shared work structure for all projects.

Define custom fields, statuses, task types, and workflows once in the workspace so projects inherit them.

  7. A library of 36 ready-made workflow templates.

Start from a ready template for general, software, content, operations, and support processes, and edit it before publishing.

  8. The form builder and response management were redesigned.

Added a three-pane form builder, new fields, a response review inbox, convert to task, auto-replies, and sharing via QR code.

  9. Document import, editing, and export are more complete.

Import or export Word, OpenDocument, Markdown, and plain-text files, and use more advanced blocks and tables.

  10. The Taskie agent finds help articles and logs work time.

The agent can find answers to product questions in the Taskie help center and log or manage your time on tasks it's allowed to access.

  11. Connecting AI tools over MCP is simpler and broader.

Secure browser sign-in with OAuth 2.1, shared projects, more tools, and ready-made resources and prompts are available.

  12. Messenger bots do more.

In Telegram and Mattermost, view or change work, send files and voice messages, and undo reversible actions.

  13. Filing and following up on support tickets is smoother.

Ticket pages were redesigned, and replies reach users and the support team faster with more precise notifications.

  14. The app's look and task covers were refreshed.

Empty-state illustrations, project view icons, and the set of ready-made covers were replaced with a more consistent, professional style.

  15. Several usability and performance issues were fixed.

Card dragging on Windows, Option shortcuts on macOS, opening notifications, showing voice file transcripts, and Gantt and calendar performance have all improved.
