What's new in 2.11.3

Version 2.11.3 brings data questions, suggested widgets and AI insights to the dashboard, plus several practical fixes for tasks, automation and the work calendar.

Version 2.11.3 is mostly about the dashboard: you can ask questions about your workspace data, add suggested widgets in one click and see an AI summary of how your dashboard looks. Alongside that, there are several practical fixes for tasks, automation, the work calendar and error pages.

Ask your data

You can now write a question about tasks or logged time in plain language, for example "How many open tasks does each member have?". The answer is built as a report, and if it's useful you can add that report to your dashboard so it stays up to date like any other widget.

This is available on both the workspace dashboard and each project's dashboard. Your question only runs on data you already have access to, so the resulting report never shows anything beyond your own access. We recommend keeping questions short and specific and including the time range you have in mind.

Suggested widgets and AI insights

  • Suggested widgets are built from your workspace's real data and the widgets you already have on the dashboard.
  • The AI insights widget summarizes the state of your dashboard in a few sentences and shows when it was last updated.
  • When you build a dashboard with AI, each widget's settings are suggested too.

Quick status buttons in the task window

The status section of the task window has two new buttons: move the task to the next status, and close the task. Closing a task comes with a small celebration. If the project has a workflow, only allowed statuses are suggested, and if there's an open dependency, a message explains it.

These buttons only appear for people who are allowed to change the task's status. If the task is already in a final status, the close button isn't shown. The full list of statuses is still available from the same section.

Fixes

  • Automation notifications no longer show raw text variables, and an unknown variable is flagged when you save the automation.
  • In the work calendar, the days of the work week display correctly again, and every change is saved without a save button.
  • Checkbox options in settings and forms that didn't show their state have been fixed.
  • The work structure window now scrolls, and the buttons in the roles window are no longer cut off.
  • Workload settings on the All tasks page no longer show a permission error.
  • Error pages such as 403, 404 and 500 are simpler and lighter, and they display correctly even during an outage.

Note: Dashboard AI features depend on your workspace plan and AI credits. If you don't see an option, ask your workspace admin to check the plan and the related permission.

If you don't see the changes

Refresh the page once so the new version loads. If you still have a problem, contact your workspace admin or Taskie support.

A short list of the changes is also on the version 2.11.3 changelog page.
