What's new in 2.12.0

Version 2.12.0 brings two big new features: events and meeting rooms for scheduling meetings, and full workspace backups. Forms have also been redesigned and now show response analytics, and several popular pages now support print and PDF export.

Events and meeting rooms

You can now schedule your team's meetings and events right in Taskie. Each event has a start and end time, participants, notes, links, attachments and related tasks, and participants can RSVP. An event can belong to a project or be created for the whole workspace.

• Workspace admins can set up meeting rooms in settings; if a room or a participant is booked twice at the same time, Taskie flags the conflict.
• Events appear in the project calendar, the workspace calendar, the dashboard calendar widget and global search.
• In the calendar's week and day views, drag across a time range to create an event or a task for that range.
• The quick add window now has an Event tab.
• Each project can add an Events view to its views.
• You can print the event schedule or download it as a PDF.
• Creating and editing events also works well on mobile.

Workspace backups

Workspace owners can now request and download a full copy of the workspace's data and files as a ZIP file from workspace settings. You can include all projects or only the ones you choose. Backup progress is shown live, and you get a notification when it's ready. Learn more in the workspace backup guide.

Redesigned forms

• The responses inbox, the form builder and the form page header have been redesigned.
• The settings, appearance and response review tabs are simpler and better organized.
• The analytics tab now shows views, starts and submissions, the completion rate, the average time to respond, and a summary of the answers to each question.

Print and PDF export

The timesheet and the activity report now have a print view and PDF download. In every PDF export, if the workspace has a logo, that logo appears in the header.

AI assistant and automation

• You can send longer messages to the AI assistant, up to 8192 characters.
• A New conversation button has been added to the assistant panel header.
• The assistant can create several tasks in a single request.
• Workspace automations are available from the workspace page and the workspace switcher.

Fixes

• In every dialog, the confirm button now comes before the cancel button.
• The workspace switcher closes when you go to another page.
• Sprints are shown in the correct order in folders.

Note: Events, meeting rooms and workspace backups depend on your workspace plan. If you don't see an option, ask the workspace owner to check the plan.

Refresh the page once so the new version loads. If you still have a problem, contact your workspace admin or Taskie support.
