What's new in 2.13.0
Version 2.13.0 redesigns and speeds up the Taskie interface across the app, from the dashboard and tasks to sprints and settings.
Version 2.13.0 focuses on everyday work: almost every page in the app has been revisited on desktop and mobile to be easier to read, more consistent and faster. The sprint flow is also simpler, and several bugs have been fixed.
A refreshed interface
- The header, sidebar and bottom navigation on mobile are more consistent, and buttons on mobile are larger and easier to tap.
- Tabs in project views, documents, notifications and settings share one simple look.
- The sign-in and sign-up pages have been redesigned, and error messages, including rate limits on attempts, are shown clearly.
- The workspace menu at the top of the sidebar now has search, and the account menu at the bottom gives you quick access to theme switching and the list of keyboard shortcuts.
Dashboard and task details
- Dashboard widgets share a consistent frame, chart and list style, and pie charts show each segment's share.
- The milestone tracking widget now correctly shows each milestone's name and target date.
- In task details, properties, subtasks, checklists and attachments are better organized, and a page preview is shown while the task loads.
- On mobile, subtask titles are shown in full, empty fields are collapsed, and the comment box stays on one line until you use it.
Sprints
You pick sprints from a row at the top of the page, and each state shows one main action: start, complete or report. Before a sprint starts or completes, you see a summary of its dates and work to confirm. When you create a new sprint, Taskie suggests a name and the next free date range, and you can enter each item's points directly in the list.
Goals and My day
- The goals list is shown as a table, filters on mobile live in a separate sheet, and switching between folders is instant.
- Each goal's page shows a tidy summary of progress, owners, due date and targets.
- In My day, the day's progress is shown at the top of the page, and checking off a task marks it as done, with the option to undo.
Timesheet and activity
- The timesheet shows a weekly range based on your calendar, daily and weekly totals, and lets you log or edit time right from the table; on mobile it shows a daily list.
- Project activity is grouped by day and shows status and assignee changes by name, for example "Status: In progress → Done".
- Activity filters have been fixed and now apply correctly.
Channels, comments and AI chat
- In project channels, consecutive messages from the same person are grouped, and day separators and a new-messages marker are shown.
- Document comments and their replies are easier to read, and their options are always available on mobile.
- In AI chat, conversations are grouped by date, and the message box is fully visible at every screen size.
Settings and project members
- The profile and workspace settings menu is more compact and scrolls along with the page.
- All workspace settings tabs share the same structure, and the save button appears when you make a change.
- Removing an SSO connection or an email domain, or disconnecting SCIM, now asks for confirmation first.
- In project member management, searching workspace members and inviting by email or mobile number happen in one box, and the member list is shown right from the first load.
Speed and fixes
- Most pages load less data, and completing tasks is faster.
- The labels page opens correctly again.
- The workspace backup download link has been fixed.
- When your session ends, the page reloads instead of showing an error.
Note for integrations: Automation webhooks now send status, assignee, section, label and other IDs as encoded text strings. If your system relied on numeric IDs, update it.
If you don't see the changes
Refresh the page once so the new version loads. If you still have a problem, contact your workspace admin or Taskie support.
A short list of the changes is also on the version 2.13.0 changelog page.
