What's new in 2.14.0
Version 2.14.0 brings Taskie to English and makes sprints, subtasks, and workspace setup more complete.
Version 2.14.0 makes Taskie ready for English-speaking teams and makes sprints, subtasks, and getting started in a new workspace more complete. Several pages have been redesigned, and several bugs have been fixed.
English
- You can switch the app between Persian and English in your account settings; in English, pages are shown left to right.
- The Taskie website, the Help Center, and the changelog are available in English.
- Each person sets their own language, so it doesn't change how the app looks for other members.
Workspace setup and sign-in
- Setting up a new workspace happens in one flow: choose a project template, invite teammates, and see a live preview of the result.
- You can sign in without a password using a one-time code sent to your email.
- If you sign up from an invitation, the invited email is shown on the sign-up form.
Sprints
When a sprint starts, its committed work is recorded, so at the end the commitment report shows what was completed, what was added, and what was left. Team velocity across past sprints and a burndown chart based on your work calendar are shown. You can set a sprint cadence and an owner for each folder, the sprint field is available in every view, and members get reminders when a sprint starts and ends.
Subtasks and views
- Drag a whole subtask row to reorder it.
- When you create a subtask, you can set its status, assignee, priority, date, and labels right there.
- Subtasks are shown in the table view too.
- The board view, the files view, project activity with continuous loading, member profile pages, and the public sharing dialog have been redesigned.
- The built-in whiteboard templates have been rebuilt.
Voice capture and AI
- Hold the record button to speak; the suggested tasks are shown for review before they are saved.
- The bottom bar on mobile has been redesigned.
- In Brave mode, the AI assistant is available without a daily limit and is billed by usage.
- The App Center has been revised, and MCP servers connect through a secure sign-in with setup guides.
API tokens and security
- In API tokens in your account settings, create tokens with limited access for your own scripts and servers.
- Account protection and access checks have been strengthened in the app and the API.
Fixes
- Changing the time or turning off All day no longer closes the date picker, and hours and minutes are shown in the same order in both languages.
- Logged time is saved in the correct time zone, and editing an entry recalculates its range.
- Editor drafts are preserved, and several people saving at once no longer lose changes.
- Removing a member from the workspace frees their seat in the subscription.
